Vincent C. Mancini
With 25 years’ experience, Vince provides his clients with a diverse skill set for advising on and resolving most legal issues. As an experienced trial attorney, Vince advises his clients on how to resolve conflicts before litigation; yet, when a lawsuit is filed, Vince transitions to the role as staunch advocate, having been involved in a diverse array of cases related to business disputes, non-compete/non-solicitation claims, business dissolution and accountings, construction defect, mechanic’s lien and breach of contract claims, estate planning and probate matters, and municipal and pension hearings.
Vince has conducted more than 100 jury and bench trials, involving both civil and criminal matters, in addition to dozens of evidentiary hearings, arbitrations/mediations, injunctions, and administrative proceedings. He has handled more than 40 appeals in state and federal court, presenting arguments before the Illinois Appellate Court, First and Second Districts, and the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals. To meet the needs of his clients, Vince’s practice expanded to include estate planning and business-related legal issues for his clients’ small, closely-held family companies and multi-million dollar corporations. His legal work includes maintaining corporate documents, re-structuring or selling the business, drafting employment agreements, contracts, NDA’s, and employment agreements, and providing advice related to employment issues and regulatory compliance. Vince is a graduate of Illinois Benedictine College and Chicago-Kent College of Law. He is licensed to practice in the State of Illinois, the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. |
